Get to Know Tulip Plumbing

When you invite someone into your home to fix a plumbing problem, you want more than the right tools. You want someone who listens, explains what’s going on, and respects the place where you live.

That’s the kind of experience we want to provide at Tulip Plumbing.

We serve Indianapolis-area homeowners with residential plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations, bringing a personal approach to both everyday problems and larger projects.

Meet David, the Founder

David started Tulip Plumbing after spending 10 years in the plumbing industry.

His stepfather taught him the trade. Along with the hands-on skills, he taught David to be dependable, take pride in the details, and follow through.

Those lessons helped shape the business David wanted to build. He wanted homeowners to feel comfortable asking questions and to understand the work being recommended.

You don’t need to know plumbing terminology to have a useful conversation with us. Tell us what’s happening in your home, and we’ll take it from there.

Why Tulip?

The name has a personal meaning.

David’s stepfather’s favorite flower was the tulip. Naming the business after it became a way to honor the person who introduced him to the trade and the lessons that stayed with him.

For David, it’s a reminder of where he started and the standards he wants Tulip Plumbing to carry forward.

“I’m building Tulip Plumbing for my family, so I treat every home I work in as if it were my own family’s.” David, owner

We believe in plumbing that’s as smooth as a tulip. No thorns, just quality service.

What Matters to Us When We Work in Your Home

When you call a plumber, you’re trusting someone with your home, your time, and a problem you want taken care of. We take that seriously.

The lessons that helped David learn the trade still guide Tulip Plumbing today: be dependable, take pride in the work, and treat people well. Here’s what that means for you.

01

Be Reliable

You have a day to plan and responsibilities beyond a plumbing appointment. We respect that.

We’ll communicate about your appointment, explain what to expect, and keep you informed if something changes. You should feel comfortable knowing who to contact and what happens next.

02

Go the Extra Mile

Sometimes the little things make the biggest difference—taking another minute to answer a question, explaining how your new equipment works, or listening when you mention something that hasn’t seemed quite right.

We want you to feel heard and leave the conversation with a better understanding of your home’s plumbing.

03

Stand Behind the Work

We take pride in the work we do, and we want you to feel comfortable bringing a concern to us.

If something about the completed work doesn’t seem right, please reach out. We’ll listen, talk through what you’re noticing, and work with you to determine the next step.

04

Don’t Just Fix It, Improve It

If you’ve dealt with the same plumbing problem more than once, you know how frustrating it can be. We want to understand why it keeps happening.

When a repair makes sense, we’ll explain it. When a broader improvement is worth considering, we’ll walk you through the reasons and options so you can decide what works for your home and budget.

05

Treat Every House Like Home

Your home is where your family lives, your pets get comfortable, and everyday life happens. We keep that in mind while we work.

That means being thoughtful about the space around the job, discussing any access we’ll need, and letting you know about planned water interruptions. If there’s something you’d like us to be mindful of, please tell us.

Let’s Talk Through the Work—and the Price

One of the hardest parts of a plumbing problem is not knowing what you’re facing. Is it a straightforward repair? Does something need to be replaced? What will it cost?

We’ll help you work through those questions. Before you approve the job, we’ll explain what we recommend, why we recommend it, and the upfront price for the proposed work.

Please ask questions. You don’t need to know plumbing terminology, and you don’t need to apologize for wanting something explained another way. It’s your home, and you deserve to understand the decision.

Tulip Plumbing does not charge a service fee. Repairs and installations are priced according to the work involved. If we uncover something that changes the proposed scope, we’ll discuss the change and price with you before moving forward.

Here to Help Indianapolis-Area Homeowners

We work with homeowners and private landlords on fixture repairs, water heaters, water treatment equipment, drains, sump pumps, and larger piping projects.

Whether you have one issue or a list you’ve been meaning to tackle, we’re happy to hear what you need.

I highly recommend calling David for any of your pluming needs. My mom, who lives alone was without water for days because the few plumbers who went for estimates were either rude or not knowledgeable. David was neither of those. He was polite and knew what he was talking about. He got the job done quick but done beautifully! Thank you David :)

David at Tulip Plumbing provided excellent service when we had an issue with our sump pump. He was able to come out the very next day, and even arrived early. He was professional, thorough, quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem, and made the entire experience easy. I highly recommend David and Tulip Plumbing! 🌷
